Lady Scarlett IV by NovelPashion Lady Scarlett IV by NovelPashion
So looking over some older stock photos of mine I discovered this picture. I really like how the composition turned out, and you get to see my mechanical arm much better. :D

Thank you all for staying with me. I know I am going through pulses of updating, but my computer has reached the "retirement" age and is now using a cane. :( Poor thing. So anyway, thank you guys for sticking with me. :)

Costume made and modeled by me :)

Awesome clothes ^^ Shame you can't wear stuff like this in everyday life, it's way too pretty to hang in the closet the whole year :(

Hahaha! :giggle: That would be rather difficult huh? ;)

Yesh :( it would :( Stupid modern day society. Doesn't know what's pretty and classy anymore *rant* Nevermind its (highly xD) unpractical, it's just awesome! impracticality doesn't count anymore when something is as awesome as this =O Tssh =O

 You are just too sweet! :tighthug:

Someday I am going to make a full-blown victorian gown. *sighs* Can't wait. :D

Lol you're welcome :D If it's true it just has to be said, I think anyway xD And since moste dA fav- and watchers never comment, it's already nice if at least one person says anything at all :p

Haha totally know how you feel :D I have so many ideas, but nothing concrete =/ and that makes it frustrating. Because if I see epicly decorated dresses I'm like "I can do that myself. I see why she made and combined this to go with that and blah" but if I have to start from scratch I can't figure out what the **** I can do to with the materials I have to make the ideal full-blown victorian gown :p If you know what I mean? xD It's like "So many options, how do I choose :noes:" How do you usually decide where you're going to use a certain material and for what? =/

Oh, and also, 'if I use this material: IT'S GONE FOREVER and I can't ever use it again and it looks so pwetty when it's between all the other laces andandand :noes:' xD Don't know whether you also have that neurotic tendency for keeping everything and not wanting to actually use it? :p Such a stupid characterestic :D

Lol! Totally know what you mean! Happens ALL the time. With me I try to use what I have. So most of the time I have mostly scraps!:stupidme: Ugh. So that is when the thrift-stores become my ally.

 I totally have that tendency! It is awful! It is actually hoarding but I hide it under the name "costuming." :P

*Random question alert* Seen any good movies lately?

Ahh scraps, yeah been there done that! :D I love them though, even have a couple of boxes full of them. Which is so reassuring to knwo xD because you never know when it might come in handy for little projects. And lol, thrift and second hand stores rule! I have found soooo many gorgeous things in them! Honestly, I think 75% of everything I have today is previously owned by somebody else :o

Lol totally! I'm such a freaking horder too :D But people don't understand that's because I actually really feel like I don't belong in this era, so whenever I see something I like, I feel I must have it to make my collection of 'See? This era might work, IF you desplay enough of me so it seems like you're in a wannabe 19th century room B-)' *so crazy* :D
So do you also haven't got enough room to store everything you've got? Awful, argh :D *horder's first world problems*

Yes actually I did =O Anna and the King ^^ There are two versions: the 50's one I believe (seen it a looong time ago, with the biggest bad ass hoopskirts you've ever seen) and the 2000 version, with a little Tom Felton (you know, Draco from Harry Potter xD). Oh and also Little Women. There are even three versions of that: the black and white, the somewhat later version with Elizabeth Taylor and the 90s one with Winona Ryder. They're all nice ^^
And Raintree County, also with Elizabeth Taylor and gorgeous costumes [thanks to Walter Plunket designs ^^). But spoiler alert: it's not the most 'lighthearted' movie ever, not a particularly happy ending, so for me it wasn't the ideal good movie :p Though it has such gorgeous clothes ^^
