Hey you all!
So this is my steampunk costume that I wore to Comic Con Saturday! Enjoy!

Designed, made, and modeled by yours truly

I'm loving the costume, I like the edit on the photo to give it an old-time look as well :D

Thanks! :D
Let's see . . .I believe the entire look only cost me roughly $18.
Because I had the two blouses already that were given to me. For the skirt, I got the red from the thrift-store (it originally came from bed sheets) I just added it to a black pencil-skirt. and then $10 for the top hat that I just decorated. ^_^ All that to say that I love thrift-stores and I don't "hoard" clothes for nothing. :giggle: The mechanical arm was just some piping and hinges that we threw together. :D

wow, it looks so good for the price! :D I get given clothes by people sometimes, I've been meaning to learn how to properly sew for ages...hopefully one day I could sew stuff as cool as your clothing :)

Good point :D I've done simple things like make shorts from old jeans and I did a bit of textiles at school, but I need to find some free time, find the sewing machine and get going =P good luck with all of your future work
